Save children

The association is taking care of sick children coming from developing countries.

The disease affecting the child must be fully curable with no need for post-op care.

The surgical intervention is assumed not to be feasible in the child's country of origin, either for lack of technical means or because the child's family cannot afford medical care in his country.

The patient notes must be as comprehensive as possible to be reviewed by the medical commission designated by the board of the association. Its decisions cannot be appealed. Once the patient's file submitted is accepted, the child is brought from its country of origin to Clermont-Ferrand to stay with a host family chosen by the association.

The association foots the travel expenses, the costs of the hospital's stay and all the other costs related to the child's needs in Clermont.

Since the first intervention in 2000, more than 65 children were cured thanks to the association (see the full results)
